I
remember riding the Elephants and making their ears flap up and down. My sister
and I always rode separately, and we both wanted one where the ears actually
worked. We didn't always get one that worked, but we loved it anyway. I remember
the big barn, and looking in at the great big slide, and being too scared to go
on it. But my sister loved it, and the next year she got me to go up the ladder,
and this little boy got behind me and was very frustrated because I was climbing
so slow. I eventually made it to the top, and looked a mile down at my dad
waiting there with his arms out. And down I slid, and later we went back and did
it again. We always rode the boats first and pretended we were driving. And we
always took a picnic. I am so sad that they are gone, but I love the memories.
