Memories of Fantasy Farm

Midway.jpg (17810 bytes) I worked there, mmm, 12 years ago, when I was 15, doing games and things. I really enjoyed your trip down memory lane, even if it were a bittersweet one. What do I remember? I remember the really neat arcade there, that had all kinds of "non video" games for a quarter. You could operate a dump truck, a sky lift, that sort of thing. I remember working at a trough that had ducks going around it called the duck pond. There were supposed to be 3 lucky rubber ducks, #5, #15, and #25. If you got any of those 3, you won a stuffed animal. Any other duck would get you a cheap prize, like a pair of cheap Chinese finger cuffs or a tiny squirting flower. One day, while cleaning behind the duck pond, I found 3 of the lucky ducks, covered in about an inch of dust. Ooops!  No wonder no one won any stuffed animals. (I was paid the princely sum of $2.25 an hour back then!) Again, thanks for the site.. it brought back a lot of memories!
